Here's what bugs me, fellas. In my experience, women are fantastic students because they don't bring any macho bullshit to the table. The young woman today was a great listener, asked good questions, and was genuinely concerned that she do things "the right way."
So my gripe is that I wonder how often women have been intimidated by the Old Farts of the shooting world, and have walked away from a sport that can also be life saving. I'm going to continue to offer the new-to-shooters days at the range. One of the Old Farts wanted to move me to another range and have me wait 2 hours. I said, "No thanks, she'll be fine"
